An experimental installation titled “INDICATION” by spatial designer Reiichi Ikeda will be held.
Having worked extensively both in Japan and abroad on architectural, interior, and spatial direction projects for commercial and residential environments, Ikeda now deliberately distances himself from everyday client work to present a piece conceived as a form of personal “training” and “exploration.”

This exhibition focuses on the subtle signs and sensations that precede events and states that may arise in human life — the phenomena and feelings that appear just before something begins. By turning his gaze to natural and human phenomena, Ikeda seeks to bring their latent presence to light, outlining the invisible atmospheres they contain.
By presenting “INDICATION / a sign” as a deliberately non-continuous, transient space — a premonition before the emergence of community — the exhibition offers an opportunity to reconsider the essential nature of existence and material presence.
The venue is the RID Studio, Ikeda’s creative base, which will be open to the public, offering a glimpse into his everyday working environment.
