JEFF KOONS
PAINTINGS AND BANALITY
Marking the 20th anniversary of the Espaces Louis Vuitton and the 10th anniversary of the Fondation Louis Vuitton's Hors-les-murs programme, Espace Louis Vuitton Osaka presents an exhibition devoted to the work of American artist Jeff Koons. This exhibition presents seven selected artworks including sculptures and paintings that symbolize Koons's career.

JEFF KOONS
Born in 1955 in Pennsylvania, and developed a passion for art at a very young age. After studying at the Institute of Art and Design, he moved to New York, where he lives and works to this day. Since 1980, Koons has become established on the global art scene.
Explores contemporary visual culture through references drawn from both high and popular cultures, deprioritised and revalued.

The Espace Louis Vuitton Osaka is an art venue located on the 5F of Maison Louis Vuitton Osaka Midosuji exclusively devoted to the exhibitions organized in the framework of the “Hors-les-murs” programme by the Fondation Louis Vuitton. This programme presents the artworks of the Collection.
