
Alexandre Imai
Born in Paris in 1959, he lived there until the age of five. His father was Toshimitsu Imai, one of Japan’s leading artists of the Art Informel movement. He moved to the UK in the 1980s to study under David Bailey and is also a photographer. His representative works include *Booska: A Stroll Through Tokyo* and others. As a painter, he is a remarkably prolific artist who has sold over 200,000 works to date. His energetic and powerful works continue to evolve.
