In a window within the city where diverse people pass by, each carrying their own thoughts, crossing paths and slipping past one another, images that reconfigure dream and reality, past and present, are presented. Fragments of sensation that quietly emerge within the flow intersect with the memories and experiences of passersby, giving rise to different moments of reflection in each.

My work begins with collecting fragments of images born from subtle dissonances between myself and the world in daily life, and reconfiguring them. Moving between painting and spatial expression, I explore the construction of spaces where each viewer’s memories and emotions intersect. Drawing on fragments of nature and myth, I seek the boundary the real world overlaps with each individual’s inner time and space.

A long-established department store serving as a landmark in the Osaka Minami district. The store is directly connected to Namba Stations on the Nankai Electric Railway and the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, offering a wide variety of ladies’ fashion, cosmetics, and sundries.
