The Tale of Objects and Spirits: Memories Within Materials, New Forms
What the exhibits tell us: past memories and new forms.
This exhibition focuses on and showcases objects that have completed their original purpose. Moving beyond mere resource circulation, these items have been reconstructed into works of art and design, guided by the time and background etched into them. The process and their transformed figures are packed with the potential and excitement of sustainability.
Furthermore, the exhibition welcomes "Ikimou Art" (Live Hair Art) by Unagi (from the comedy duo Gin Shari) and "OBJECT⇄FOREST" by Ryota Yokozeki (RYOTA YOKOZEKI STUDIO), presenting artworks that deeply resonate with the theme of this exhibition.

A creative company that generates "inspiration" and "empathy" through immersive "experiences." HAKUTEN CIRCULAR DESIGN ROOM is a specialized organization within Hakuten. Its mission is to achieve both reduced environmental impact for events and high levels of creativity and experiential value, centered around resource circulation.
Laugh＆Peace Art Gallery
Art gallery produced by Yoshimoto Kogyo that serves as a “hub” for a wide range of creators, from artists, illustrators, and photographers to filmmakers, musicians, and entertainers. We are opened in January 2019.
