Reinterpreting mysterious phenomena hidden in everyday spaces through a pop and humorous lens, this work unfolds in the urban landscape of Osaka. Colorful and unique YOKAI - traditional Japanese monsters -of various sizes and hues emerge unexpectedly from gaps in the city, transforming familiar scenes and creating new narrative layers.

Supervised by the deputy head priest of Sansho Zen Temple, the egg shape of the 3D-scanned Hokkai Jo in-a symbolic Buddhist hand gesture - represents the origin of life and unconditional compassion, envisioning a world where diverse forms of life coexist and breathe together.
