    The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition was established in January 2019 in collaboration with the national and local governments and the business community.
    In November 2018, it was decided at the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) that World Expo 2025 will take place in Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

    Ensuring the success of this Exposition will require collective global wisdom and the whole of Japan to unite for preparations.
    The Association will prepare and manage the main Expo event, and through the success of this Expo, it aims to contribute to the achievement of the UN’s proposed Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as growth of Japan’s industry and culture.
