Illustrators are a key part of Japanese pop culture. Their work, however, extends well beyond this field—into music, TV commercials, events, and more—making them an essential part of Japanese culture today.

ILLUSTRATORS EXPO is an exhibition featuring over 100 illustrators active in Japan today. It highlights artists from the pop culture scene as well as those working across many types of media. Discover today’s illustration culture that Japan is proud of.

ILLUST. POSTER EXPO is a special exhibition where illustrators and graphic designers work together to create posters. By teaming up beyond regular work projects, each pair explores new creative possibilities.
We hope the posters give you insight into how these artists think, create, and approach their work.
