Charlotte Perriand designed Indochine Chaise longue in November of 1943, during her term as Director of Crafts in Vietnam. Confined to bed toward the end of her pregnancy, she designed a chaise longue with armrests that allowed her to continue to read, write and design. The first specimen was in rattan, due to the impossibility of finding steel because of the Pacific War.

Charlotte Perriand Collection

In 2004, in close collaboration with Pernette Perriand-Barsac, Perriand's daughter and sole heir, Cassina launched the Charlotte Perriand collection. This constantly evolving collection captures and expands the creative heart of each project, making it more enriched and relevant than ever before.
And in 2024, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Charlotte Perriand collection, Cassina will pay homage to the work of this multitalented designer, presenting a model that has never before been produced industrially.

On the first floor, under the concept of "The Cassina Perspective," innovative products are styled alongside modern icons, offering a wide range of proposals that compose contemporary living spaces—including living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and outdoor areas. The second floor showcases model spaces coordinated with a diverse array of interior items, featuring select international brands such as the newly rebranded original brand IXC, LEMA, and SieMatic kitchens. Visitors can experience a variety of styles through this expansive display.
