OSAKA INTERNATIONAL ART is an international,large scale art fair that mainly sells and exhibits works from galleries recommended by embassies and consulates of various countries.This is an event that creates a virtuous cycle in the environment surrounding art and connects “culture” and “economy” exchange through art.

Aiming to become a hub for the city of Osaka, where people from all over the world can gather during the Expo, two EXPO Sakaba Main Bars have opened in the city, offering places where people can enjoy food, music, talking, and shopping during the six months of the Expo period. Various events will be promoted, such as Theme Weeks in the City and National Weeks in the City, on a weekly basis in collaboration with partners, including overseas countries, domestic regions, and companies.

The Association for the Promotion of Contemporary Art in Japan (APCA), a general incorporated association that has been running the contemporary art fair “ART OSAKA” for over 20 years, in collaboration with Shinsaibashi PARCO, which has been disseminating culture through co-creation with up-and-coming creators, has set up a new cultural promotion project to create a place to showcase and appreciate the works of young artists from the Kansai region. CO in the title stands for collaboration. We hope that this exhibition will be an opportunity for all visitors to develop a new relationship with contemporary art and gain more perspectives.

Life in Art is a project that promotes art (=culture) with the theme of everyday art. Following TOKYO ARTSCAPES held in the fall of ____, the art event OSAKA ARTSCAPES will be held with the theme of “food,” based at MUJI Grand Front Osaka. In addition to exhibitions, a wide variety of contents, including talk events, markets, and research findings, will be offered, allowing visitors to think about art from food and also life from art.

- ART OSAKA 2025
ART OSAKA, a contemporary art fair, has the longest history of any currently ongoing art fair in Japan and has been popular as a place to see the trends of young and mid-career artists. This fair, which has become notable for being held in two areas that Osaka is particularly proud of, Nakanoshima and Kitakagaya, will rent out the entire Osaka City Central Public Hall, which is the venue in Nakanoshima, and hold a special video program in its magnificent theater this year.

This is one of the largest architectural events in Japan, which focuses on buildings in Osaka City and offers free admission to Osaka’s “living architecture” all at once, from historical buildings that are designated as cultural assets to contemporary buildings that are the talk of the town. Through a variety of programs, including special exhibitions of buildings that are normally off-limits, guided tours, and experiential workshops, you can discover the fascinating world of architecture and feel the charms of the city of Osaka. An official guidebook will also be released.

“FUJIFILM INSTAX presents MURAL TOWN KONOHANA,” a mural project in Konohana Ward, is currently exhibiting over 20 works by artists from 17 countries. Mural culture has not yet taken root in Japan. We will guide you through the works of artists from all over the world in one of the most mural rich places in Japan.
